[I-146] Effect of Compressive Reinforcing for Steel Girder Applied by CFRP Stiffeners

When replacing the shoe of steel girder,vertical stiffeners are applied as prevention of buckling with the jack up. However, when steel stiffeners are installed to existing steel girder, it takes the labour of manufacturing and working, furthermore, it is concerned about heat affect for existing steel girder by welding.
On the other hand, recently, it is beeing developed the new repair method for combining the existing steel structure with FRP using VaRTM technique.
In this study, steel girder specimen with CFRP stiffeners applied by VaRTM technique is fabricated, and the effect of compressive reinforcing for steel girder with CFRP stiffeners is confirmed in the compressive test.
