Development of FRP Hand-hole for Communication and Electrical Piping Systems in Bridge Concrete Railing
Sharp angle and square steel hand-hole is buried in bridge concrete railing for maintenance and branch in communication and electrical piping systems. Typical steel hand-hole has several problems in terms of construction quality and protective function by placement in narrow bars of bridge concrete railing. Proposed FRP hand-hole is expected to have several performances such as crack control of concrete, improvement of concrete filling, protective function and productivity improvement by improving the shape using FRP material.
