本研究では，発泡材の力学特性が三層緩衝構造の緩衝性能に与える影響の検討を目的に，実規模の1/4 ∼ 1/2 程度の三層緩衝構造模型を落石対策便覧に準拠して別途設計し，発泡材の種類および衝突速度を変化させた重錘落下衝撃実験を実施した．
