Many studies have been conducted for improving the impact resistance of existing RC beams under low-velocity impact of solid object, like a falling rock. For structural members in the buildings, installing a supporting sheet and wrapping them with reinforcement material are the most common methods to improve impact resistance. In this study, in addition to CF panel retrofitting method, polyurea coating method was proposed. By comparative experiments, their reinforcement effect for RC beam under impact load was confirmed.
