[I-350] Experimental study on the slip behavior of high strength threaded studs
Keywords:Stud Bolt, Friction Joint, Push out test
At the Joint of bottom plates of composite decks, bolts used for friction joint stick out to concrete. In the past researches, assuming the friction joint of the composite girder, the slip behavior of the joint using bolts and head studs were studied. However, only bolts were not. In this research, we conducted the push out test using the test piece with stud bolts assuming the joint of the composite decks to confirm the slip behavior and to develop a structure expected the composite effect. As a result, in the case where stud bolts and the headed studs were used stud bolts only, the maximum strength was increased because the headed stud also resisted shear. However, the initial stiffness decreased.
