[I-50] A consideration on natural vibration mode of tunnel with and without back cavity

Deterioration such as cracks has been reported in shield tunnels used for a long time. Also, in recent years, it has been a problem that a cavity is generated at the back of the shield tunnel, but it is not clear what kind of influence the back cavity has on the structure of the regular tunnel. Therefore, in this report, we examined whether or not the natural vibration mode of the tunnel changes depending on the existence of the back cavity from the eigenvalue analysis.
