[II-100] Approximate Solution of Hydraulic Transient on Staircase Type Water Clock

This paper describes the hydraulic transient of staircase type water clock. A simple hydraulic model consists of the continuity equation of two tanks. The approximate solution of the system is derived theoretically assuming the power series expansion of t~1/2. The solution is compared to experimental results.
