[II-168] A flood estimation and its measures of the Mama river in Ichikawa city

In September 2015, Kanto and Tohoku heavy rainfall was over 600 mm in Kanto region, and in Chiba Prefecture, flood damage occurred around Ichikawa River Ichikawa City. In particular, in Sugano area, floods occurred and damage, because the width of the river channel narrowed sharply. There is a high possibility of flood damage by large-scale typhoons and torrential rains. In this study, we calculated the flood damage caused by Kanto Tohoku heavy rain about Mama river, and examined the effect of cross-sectional widening and bottom weir as future measures.
