[II-17] Outdoor cultivation test of microalgae and its performance evaluation

Examining microalgae mass culture systems can significantly reduce costs. For this reason, many researchers are working on technology development. In Japan, we conducted outdoor culture tests using the less common thin-layer liquid culture method. This culture method is a wide range of manufacturing methods, and light can be used efficiently.
As a result of culturing the green alga P. kessleri, this culture method increased to 3.9 g-dry / L. On the other hand, general tank cultures grew to only 0.6 g-dry / L.
