In recent years, technology to convert minute energy existing in ambient environment such as light and heat into electric power attracts attention, and the application is spreading with the progress of power saving technology of electronic devices. Moreover, there is little environmental load as the power supply, and the expectation to micro hydropower generation which can utilize unused water resources effectively is large. In this study, we developed a compact pendulum generator using a piezoelectric element and confirmed the possibility of micro-hydro power generation by experiments.
