[II-202] Effects of permeable layers on flow structures of the surface flow over permeable rough bed
Keywords:turbulent flow over permeable rough bed, Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes eqations, advection term, Reynolds stress term
Numerical experiment about steady flow over permeable rough bed consisting uniform spheres were conducted and effects of permeable layers on flow structures were discussed. Distributions of time and space average velocity and shear stress departed flow that of uniform flow near the top of permeable layers. Then, the size of each term of the RANS was compared using time series data of flow. Advection term of (-w∂u∂z) became values of the order same as the longitudinal component of gravitational acceleration (gx) at the regions of upward flow from permeable layer.
