[II-206] Estimation of the sediment discharge hydrograph at the time of the flood with a large amount of sediment in Kamanashi River
Keywords:flood flow, bed variation, sediment discharge hydrograph, boudary condition
In August, 1982, the Kamanashi River flood recorded the largest discharge in the postwar period. And a large amount of sediment flowed out of the upstream mountains. Then sediments were deposited on the river channel and water route changed along the levee. It is necessary to clarify the flood flow and riverbed variation mechanism of the river where such a large amount of sediment flows in. In this study, we examined the sediment discharge hydrograph, which is the upstream boundary condition. As a result, it was estimated that the amount of sediment is from 1.6 million m3 to 2.3 million m3.
