[II-21] Estimation method of flow velocity and roughness coefficient in small rivers

In order to evaluate the self-purification of the river, the flow velocity of the whole river is necessary. Since there is little topographic data in the tributaries, a flow velocity estimation method using Internet data was proposed. However, there was a problem in setting the roughness coefficient. In this study, a method is developed to express the effect of many weirs in the tributary with a roughness coefficient. Since the estimated flow velocity and roughness coefficient are almost the same as the measured values, this method is considered to be useful.
