Understanding the effects of global warming is important for planning of future infrastructure development. This study examined the spatial distribution changes of precipitation and pressure in near-future climate of the Kyushu district in summer by using the self-organizing map to d4PDF. In near-future climate, the distribution patterns of occurrence of heavy rainfall in southern and western Kyushu locally increase in summer, while the patterns of heavy rainfall in whole Kyushu decrease.
