[II-95] Visualization of Damage Mitigation Effect of Two-line Embankment by Model Experiment and iRIC Nays2Dflood

This research aims to visualize the damage caused by backwater and the damage reduction effect of the double line levees as a countermeasure to make the general society aware of the risk of flooding outside and the effect of double line levees. For visualization, we used an experimental device called EMRIVER EM3 and simulation software called iRIC Nays 2D Flood. In this study, it was shown that by arranging a two-line dike, we can earn time to water in the house and it is possible to confirm the effect of damaging the house by inundation.
