[III-185] Thermodynamic analysis model for swelling behavior of tunnels
Keywords:Smectites, Swelling clay mineral, Modified Cam-Clayl model, Return mapping
In recent years, in the ground containing smectites, which is a swelling clay mineral, there is a problem that the underground structures such as tunnels are destroyed due to water absorption and swelling of smectites. The failure problem of the tunnel in the swellable ground requires appropriate modeling for the swelling of the ground. In this study, a modified cam clay model of clay is adopted as an elasto-plastic mechanical model, and a swelling model of smectite combined with it is constructed.
