[III-295] Reinforcement effect of carbon fiber sheet used for longitudinal direction countermeasure of existing precast arch culvert

The 3-hinge precast arch culvert, which suffered damage due to the 2011 East Japan Earthquake, etc., has been found to be damage and damage due to the longitudinal behavior of the culvert by the examination so far.

In this study, using dynamic centrifugal model test, the effectiveness of the reinforcing effect of carbon fiber sheet as a measure for the longitudinal behavior of existing 3-hinge arch during earthquake is examined.

As a result, compared with the case where sheet reinforcement was performed only to the arch leg part, the case where sheet reinforcement was performed to the arch top part can suppress the deformation in the longitudinal direction, and it is clear that the measure effect is high.
