[III-525] In-situ unsaturated permeability tests on the landfill of excavated rocks

Recently the environmental pollution with natural heavy metal is increasing. The excavated rocks with natural heavy metal have been shielded by the bentonite mixed soil for the construction of Oshikado tunnel. And the seepage water is drained by the drainage pipe in that landfill. The unsaturated seepage flow affect these shield importantly. We have tested the unsaturated characteristic parameter by this proposed in-situ unsaturated permeability tests. It was found that these parameter measured by infiltrating water differ from the parameter measured by rainfall tests.
