[III-64] Storage performance evaluation using numerical analysis in CO2 reservoir
Keywords:Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage, CCS, Reservoir simulation, Injection performance, Storage capacity
As one of the mitigation measures for climate change, Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage (CCS) is expected for suppressing CO2 emissions while generating electricity using fossil fuels. Press-in performance and storage capacity are important as storage performance of the reservoir. The press-in performance shows the press-in amount per unit time. Storage capacity indicates how much CO2 can be stored. In the design of CO2 underground storage, the storage performance of the reservoir greatly influences the number and arrangement of the injection well. In this report, the examination result by numerical analysis on the two evaluation items of injection performance and storage capacity is reported.
