[IV-141] Evaluation of natural disaster risk before and after the Great East Japan Earthquake using extended GNS

Gross National safety for natural disasters (GNS) is newly developed index to express quantitative risks for natural disasters. It is composed of exposure and vulnerability based on differences in the social, economic and natural conditions of each place. In this study, a new method to evaluate exposure in more detail using GIS was developed. The exposure, structural and non-structural countermeasures and thier time evolutions in Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima prefectures before and after Great East Japan Earthquake were investigated.
