[V-10] Examination of cement effective factor for strength development performance of fly ash mortar with steam curing and internal curing
Keywords:Fly ash, Cement effective factor(k-value), Steam curing, Internal curing, Compressive strength, Calcium hydroxide consumption
This study aims at investigating the cementing efficiency factor (k-value) of fly ash for strength development of steam cured mortar containing roof-tile fine aggregate as internal curing. Compressive strength of steam cured and internally cured mortars was measured at the ages of 1, 7, and 28 days, and the k-value of fly ash was calculated. Moreover, the amount of calcium hydroxide (CH) in paste specimens was measured by thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis, and the amount of CH consumption was calculated.
