[V-12] Influence of temperature and time on accelerated estimation method for pozzolanic reactivity of fly ash

There is a need for shortening the estimating period for the activity of fly ash by applying mortar bar test, 28 and 91 days, with comforming JIS A6201. The author had proposed the accelerated chemical estimation method as Assessed Pozzolanic activity Index, API- method, and been on improving the applicability. Amount of glassy phase and basicity of fly ash have large impact on its reactivity during the API-method. Fly ash with lower amount of glassy phase and lower basicity should have longer reacting time during the API-method, then the appropriate reacting condition for the API-method was settled as 80 centi-degree for 28 hours.
