[V-123] Study on applicability of FRC using fine fiber to excess paste theory

With the aim of rational combination design of FRC, we examined the applicability of FRC using a small diameter fiber with a fiber length of 12 mm and a fiber diameter of 40 μm to the excess paste theory. Within the range of 0.5 to 1.5 vol% of fiber content and 180 kg / m3 to 220 kg / m3 of unit water, it was clarified that the flowability is maximized in the vicinity of the fine aggregate ratio where the paste film thickness particle size ratio is maximum. This indicates that the surplus paste theory is also applicable to FRC.
