[V-338] Bending Test of RC Beam with an Outer Shell Made of Sprayed Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete

The authors developed the new method to assemble the formwork using the outer shell made of sprayed steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) to improve the productivity of formwork labor. In this study, the bending experiment of RC beam with outer shell and confirmed the bending capacity and failure mode of the beam. As results, the authors confirmed that the bending capacity of the RC beam specimen with outer shell was twice larger than that of conventional RC beam and failure mode of the specimen was the same as that of the conventional RC beam.
