[V-462] Experimental Study on Expansion and Deterioration of sulfate added Concrete due to DEF
Keywords:DEF, Compressive strength, Static modulus of elasticity, Damage, Plasticity
Experimental study was conducted on the influence of the expansion of concrete by DEF and the expansion of DEF on mechanical properties. The effects of different amounts of sulfate added on the DEF behavior of concrete were confirmed, and the effects on compressive strength and static modulus after expansion were discussed. As a result, it was confirmed that the expansion start time is earlier as the amount of added sulfate increases in any of the examinations. In addition, when the expansion amount is about 2000μ, the mechanical characteristics do not tend to decrease.
