[V-471] Galvanic corrosion behavior of aluminum alloy residual formwork in concrete
Keywords:Aluminum alloy, Corrosion, Galvanic corrosion, Concrete, Mortar
Test pieces simulating the situation steel members such as reinforcing bars and binding wires were in contact with the aluminum alloy residual form were made, and corrosion tests were conducted to verify galvanic corrosion behavior. As a result, the test piece in contact with the binding wire was insulated after 28 days, and the corrosion depth after test was about 10 to 20 μm. In addition, there was almost no difference in the corrosion depth regardless of contact with the binding wire. Therefore, it was confirmed that there is no problem because, when the binding wire is in contact with the aluminum alloy residual form in concrete, both are insulated by galvanic corrosion and it shifts to self corrosion.
