[V-499] Fundamental study on crack resistance test method of restrained UHPFRC

In the large scale renewal project of expressway bridges, it is planned on totally replacing the upper surface of the floor slab as a standard renewal method of RC hollow floor slab. The authors are researching and developing a new method using this high-strength, UHPFRC with high mass transfer resistance as the replacement material. When UHPFRC is casted as a thin layer on the upper surface of RC hollow floor slab, the contraction of UHPFRC is restrained by the existing floor slab and tensile stress in a nearly uniaxial state is generated. In this research, in order to evaluate the crack resistance of restrained UHPFRC, the existing JIS standard was used as start.
