[V-502] Relationship between Aggregate Dispersion Distance and Flowability of Concrete with Adjusted Particle Size Distribution of Fine and Coarse Aggregate
Keywords:particle size distribution of fine and coarse aggregate, the Excess Paste Theory, aggregate distance of dispersion
Although many studies on the consistency of concrete have been accumulated, in almost of studies the particle size distribution of aggregates within JIS range has been applied. On the other hand, the current condition is that the recommended particle size distribution of aggregate and the method of mixing design of concrete are not unified worldwide. Therefore, in this study, we evaluated the consistency of concrete using aggregate of various particle size distribution regardless of JIS. As a result, even when using a fine aggregate outside the particle size distribution range of JIS, slump and aggregate dispersion distance have a positive correlation.
