[V-508] Experimental study on pumpability of ultra-high strength fiber reinforced mortar

When ultra-high strength materials are pumped, it is concerned that the pumping load will increase because the water-to-powder ratio is extremely small and the viscosity is high.

In this study, using a fiber reinforced mortar with an ultra-high strength of 15.5% water-to-powder ratio, a pumping test with a squeeze pump was performed. The influence of the inner diameter of the hose and the feeding distance on the pressure and the discharge amount in the hose was examined experimentally.

As a result, it was confirmed that the pressure loss in the hose can be reduced to 1/5 by increasing the inner diameter of the hose from 40 A(1 1/2in) to 50 A(2in) by 1.25 times.
