[V-588] Effects of Web Position on Shear Resistance Mechanism of UFC Beams with Flange

Most of UFC beams are T-beams or hollow-beams with various web positions. The objective of this research is to clarify the shear resistance mechanism of UFC beams with flange. The results revealed that the web position greatly affected the shear capacity even though the structural performances of each specimens were prospected same. Finally, it can be considered that the differences were determined by whether or not the specimen had the flange overhang or the webs were distributed over the flange.
