[V-598] Experimental Study on Flexural Strength of RC Beam Reinforced with Strand Sheet

In this study, in order to investigate the influence of the dimensional effect of RC beams with strand sheets attached to the lower surface, we designed and experimented a specimen with a cross-sectional area of 1:2 and shear span ratio and main reinforcement ratio approximately equal. The moreover, the influence by the presence or absence of polyurea resin was also examined. As a result, (1) The maximum load is larger in the specimen with polyurea resin when the cross section and the span length are the same. (2) From the graph of bending stress-deflection relationship, all four specimens show the same behavior, bending stress 22.5 N/mm2.
