[V-617] Examination on Design Fatigue Strength of Mortar Grouted Splice Sleeves

Authors already have proposed the design equation for the mortar grouted splice sleeve itself in 2016, whose fatigue lifespan was up to 100 million times. In this paper, evaluation of the fatigue performance of the mortar grouted splice sleeve used in a specific cast-in-place concrete structure was conducted based on the fatigue test of eight D38 reinforcing bars (SD490) with the mortar grouted splice sleeves. Moreover, examination of the test result was carried out using the already proposed design equation of the fatigue strength by authors.
