[VI-107] Characteristics of Preformed Crack-inducing Joint on Tunnel Lining
Keywords:Tunnel Lining, Long-span Tunnel Formwork Carriages, Crack-inducing Joint, Rapid Construction, Full-scale Experiments
In order to achieve the rapid construction in tunnel construction, a method of constructing concrete lining using long-span tunnel formwork carriage (18-21m) were developed. In this method, since the construction span is longer than usual, the risk of cracks occurring at unspecified locations due to temperature change and drying shrinkage increases. As a measure, a crack-inducing joint is formed in the center of the span and cracks are induced at the specified location. In this study, a full-scale experiment was conducted to confirm the characteristics of the preformed crack-inducing joint due to different concrete types and defect rates.
