[VI-1088] Proposal of bubble disappearance theory and experimental verification (part 1: medium-fluidity concrete)
Keywords:Theory of CB, Fluctuating inertia force, Surface air bubbles, Amplitude, Frequency, Acceleration
The surface air bubbles in concrete adversely affect the durability of the structures. The purpose of this study is to propose a new theory of bubble disappearance mechanism in concrete. The results of this study showed that there is a correlation between the bubble area ratio and the acceleration. And the acceleration more than 4G caused the material separation. These results clarified that the vibration with the maximum acceleration in the range where material separation does not occur minimizes the surface bubbles.
