[VI-118] Improvement Effect of Surface Quality in the Lower Part of Lining Concrete by Using High-performance Water Permeable Sheets
Keywords:Concrete Lining, Water Permeable Sheets, Surface Quality, Appearance, Full-scale Experiment
Air bubbles and excess water are less likely to be discharged due to the cross-sectional shape of the concrete lining, and problems such as bubbles remaining on the concrete surface and an increase in the surface water-cement ratio tend to occur. These defects have an adverse effect on the quality of the surface concrete and are not desirable for the appearance. In this research, a full-scale experiment was conducted, and it was confirmed that the quality and appearance of the surface concrete were improved by installing water permeable sheets into the lower part of the tunnel formwork. In addition, the durability and effect of the sheets were also confirmed.
