[VI-119] Development of a Simple and Reliable method of Installing Water Permeable Sheets into the Lower Part of Tunnel Formwork Carriage

As a measure to improve the quality and appearance of the lower part of the concrete lining, it is effective to install a water permeable sheet into the lower part of the tunnel formwork carriage. However, the installation is conventionally required the dedicated equipment, and practical knowledge. In this research, a simple and accurate method to install the water permeable sheets into the lower part of tunnel formwork was invented, and demonstrated on the full-scale experiment. In addition, it was confirmed that this installation method fully demonstrates the excellent durability of the water permeable sheets and contributes to the improvement of the quality and appearance.
