About 85% of the Tokyo Metro Lines are underground structures. Because some sections are close to the river, water leakage occurs and it is always in a wet state.
In this paper, based on the inspection results of the four years, we examined the state of suppression of rail corrosion by the difference in the conditions of the section and the countermeasure method.
As a result, it was confirmed that the progress of rail corrosion can be suppressed by cleaning the track.
Effective measures can be implemented by focusing on these sections where rail corrosion is likely to occur, which has been identified by the rail corrosion detailed inspection.
