読売ランド線トンネル築造工事は，南山東部土地区画整理事業における都道の付替え道路として延長253mのトンネルを施工するものである．トンネルは，掘削断面積約160m2，扁平率（＝トンネル高さ/トンネル幅）0.7前後の大断面であり，N値10～40程度の稲城砂層を主体とする未固結地山を対象としている．本稿は，トンネル施工により生じた問題点及びその対策について報告するものである．
