Shotcrete is an important supporting member in the rock tunnel construction method, and the strength development characteristics largely depend on the working temperature such as mixing and spraying.Therefore, in order to ensure the quality of the shotcrete, a temperature-controlled concrete plant was applied to the tunnel site in Iwate Prefecture at -20 ° C in winter.
This report discusses the effects of temperature controlled concrete plants and the effects of concrete materials on the build up temperature.
