[VI-321] Evaluation of fireproof coating of railway steel structure bridges after painted 7 years passed

For the steel structure bridges of TOKAIDO bullet train, fireproof paint is applied to prevent girder damage caused by fire as a target location where tenants are used or where intersections with expressway. The bridge that painted by fireproof paint for the first time in our company is approaching 8 years which is a standard repainting cycle of steel structure bridges of TOKAIDO bullet train. At the repairing, it is necessary to investigate the necessity of repainting of the existing fireproof coatings.
In this study, we evaluated the current fireproof coating of the bridge in order to make the specification at the time of repainting.
