The most frequent phenomenon in the sound barriers of highway bridges in the Chugoku region was corrosion of the bottom of the sound insulation board. Although the soundproofing function is small, we have developed a product that reduces material costs. And the test construction and noise measurement were carried out with the installation location at the lowest position. As a result, it was confirmed that if the exchange was limited to the lowest position in the section below the traffic volume of interest, the influence on the noise value was small.
