[VI-380] Study on applicability of acceleration measurement system to subbase course material

Today, a system estimating the ground stiffness using the signal of the acceleration sensor which equipped on a vibratory compactor, such as vibratory roller or vibratory plate compactor is already in actual use. This technology is considered to be the technology to improve efficiency of the quality control.
The Public Works Research Institute have investigated the correlation between the acceleration measurement system and density, ground stiffness, etc, using various sandy soil materials. In this study, to collect more basic data, test pit experiments with subbase course materials were done.
