After the 1995 Kobe earthquake, dense bar arrangement is often required on concretes for cases where shear reinforcements are needed to ensure structural safety. In such cases, there are difficulties in bar arrangement in field constructions. The authors verified plate-fixed type shear reinforcements for reinforced concretes to evaluate productivity and its effectiveness. This paper reported the concrete bending strength test result of slab specimens with plate-fixed type shear reinforcements.
