[VI-454] Surface quality improvement measures of box concrete using paste type curing sheet

With the aim of widening the road and separating walkways, etc., the two-passage box culvert (W14.1m × H7.2m × L10.5m), which is an underpass, is installed directly under the train track, using the Roof & Culvert method, which is a non-cutting method. In the new construction work, in order to improve the durability of the concrete box, we adopted a paste-type curing sheet (simple cure) that is effective for improving the quality of the surface layer of the concrete. In this paper, we report the outline of the sheet, the construction situation in the field, and the verification result of the curing effect by the nondestructive test carried out after construction.
