In mountain tunnels, in tunnels that show swelling, displacement is large and work is often difficult. Therefore, in the swellable ground, the CEC value decreases and the specific resistance value decreases, so in the mudstone area where the specific resistance value is low, exploration is made of a non-swellable ground area and a ground area. As well as how sensitive it is to detect swellable ground by the field survey results by TDEM method, and to what extent is it sensitive to the discrimination of low resistivity layer. And the exploration accuracy was confirmed through numerical simulation.
