It is important for maintenance and management of steel bridge early to detect excessive strain of steel material leading to the crack of fulcrum part at the time of deformation of fulcrum part which occupies most of deformation of railway steel bridge.Monitoring system There are a wide variety of types, but most of them require power supply in the sensor itself, so it is a problem that the cost of installing the power supply cable etc. is greatly increased. The purpose of this study is to confirm whether the painting type piezoelectric element, which has the characteristic of generating electricity when it occurs, has basic performance as a non-power source sensor at the fulcrum of a steel bridge.
