東海道新幹線の東京駅構内に設置されている分岐器において、近年の列車本数増加及び通過速度上昇に伴い、軌道への負担が大きくなっている。今回、改良断面トングレールの試験敷設を行い、交換周期延伸及び軌道状態の改善を試みた。
