[VI-547] Construction simulation and results of intake tunnel connection using BIM
Keywords:intake tunnel, connection part, BIM, Lining reinforcement
The intake bypass tunnel of NAKOSO thermal power plant has a length of 210 m parallel to the existing intake tunnel. In this work, the existing intake tunnel constructed by the conventional method in the 1960s and the new intake bypass tunnel were connected at a crossing angle of 45 °. Since it was necessary to prevent the damage of the existing intake tunnel lining when constructing this connection part, we constructed a construction plan to help prevent damage to the lining by means of a BIM that reproduces the tunnel structure near the connection part. In this paper, we report on the result of the preliminary examination of the connection part using the BIM and the construction results of the same part.
