In Chuo-Expressway, Large-Scale bridge slab replacement project is under construction. Traffic control period was restricted for only 66 days. This period includes not only setting up and removal of lane regulation, but also slab replacement, pavement and guard fence setting. For this reason, rapid concrete slab replacement work was needed. This paper is an example report that is about simultaneous concrete slab replacements for two bridges by efficient use of narrow construction yard, practical use of precast member and optimization of construction cycle.
