[VI-576] Comparison of noise in various concrete cutting methods
Keywords:Concrete cutter, Dry cutting with wire saw, Noise, Concrete cutting
When cutting concrete in an urban area, it is necessary to consider noise. With this background, motorized concrete cutters and blades designed to reduce noise have been developed. In this paper, the comparison was made in terms of noise with conventional engine-type cutters and conventional blades. We also compared dry wire saws that are relatively quiet. As a result, although the motorized cutter is excellent in quietness, its construction efficiency is low and its application is difficult at present. Moreover, in the case of a dry wire saw, it turned out that the noise of a dust collector becomes a subject.
